Our Mission
To provide a temporary home-away-from-home for families of children with a critical illness who travel to Edmonton for medical treatment, thereby giving those families a place that offers comfort, compassion, and support during their time of crisis.

Our vision is to provide the best care possible for families with children requiring serious medical treatment in Edmonton.
Our Philosophy
We believe:
- That every child deserves the opportunity to pursue their dreams.
- That when illness interferes with this pursuit, that every child deserves the best medical care possible.
- That medical care and treatment for children is most effective when attended by and supported by parents and family.
At Ronald McDonald House® Northern Alberta, we provide a supportive home base for families who leave their community and come to Edmonton for medical treatment and care.
