Referrals

Your first stay at Ronald McDonald House^® Northern Alberta requires a referral. This can be made up to 30 days in advance of the expected date of arrival.

A referral does not guarantee admission as the House frequently operates at 100% occupancy. Rooms are allocated based on a priority system dictated by the child’s medial condition.

Repeat visits:

When a child is returning for continued medical care for the same condition the family may call Ronald McDonald House^® Northern Alberta directly (no referral is needed). Each child, including siblings coming for medical care, require separate referrals.
